BABIES & BELLYDANCE @OTB- Woodland Hills

After a significant event such as birth, it is important that we re-acquaint ourselves with our bodies in a gentle and nourishing way.  Whether you have had previous belly dance experience or have never taken a dance class in your life, this fun and compelling foundational belly dance class has something of value to offer you while bonding with your baby! The class starts out with  stretches then transitions into learning beautiful movements which we will put together in some simple and elegant combinations, followed by a rejuvenating cool down. Mommy can choose to carry, hold or dance close to baby for the ultimate bonding experience. Those shiney hip scarves and instrumental middle eastern beats are sure to stimulate your baby into a relaxing state while they focus and feel their beautiful mommies moving to the music .

Sessions are 1 hr each.

$15 per class or $100 for series of 8 in advance.

Introducingtwo new featured classes at OTB starting Monday JUNE 20, 2016!

Better Birth Bellydance is a low impact progressive  class designed to help women’s bodies be in balance during their maternal journey. This series has a special focus on helping the baby move into a good position ready for birth while creating a deep bond between mommy and baby through deep breathing, hip movements and balance. There are many benefits to prenatal bellydance including relaxation, relieving stress, strengthening pelvic and deep abdominal muscles and other motions specifically used for giving birth.
